Colt Model 1839 Paterson Revolving Carbine in .52 caliber, S/N 122 with a 24" barrel formerly Paul Sorrell collection and recently diassecioned from a major N.W. Coast Paterson Collection. This carbine shows agood address beneath the correct style loading lever. Good to very good overall condition showing some minor losses of wood around the tang, minor cleaning and restorations but generally very good overalland in desirable early range and configuration that may have been purchased by the state of Texas or used in Seminole wars. The stock shows light refinishing and a chip of wood is missing by the top right side ofthe frame. A strong 7 on a 1-10 scale formerly in 2 stellar Paterson collections.
