Colt 1st Model Civilian Dragoon .44 caliber percussion in very good condition S/N 5222. Considerable traces of original blue and case colors mixed in light natural patina. Sharp markings and good edges. U.S.M.R. and Colt’spatent are visible with 60%-80% cylinder. Bright original blue still “Inky” under lever. All matching serial numbers. Early “V” main spring. 10%-30% varnish remains on early slim jim grips that show small lossesat the toes and carry but at least good to very good. Good action and interior. Wedge and arbor match colors inside the frame. Originally sold by Little John’s a decade ago with a holster and consigned by an Oregonpioneer family whose descent carried on the trail west. During the Holiday Season there are added surcharges for shipping therefore we will begin shipping for this auction January 4th. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs including packing, materials, shipping, 2% of invoice total for insurance, custom fee, duty fees, exporter fee etc. International shipments are sent to an exporter. All oversized, extremely heavy & extremely fragile items the buyer is responsible for contacting a third-party shipping company for shipment. We ship Federal Express; we cannot ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
